How to file a takedown notice
To file a valid DMCA takedown notice, your written communication must include all of the following (per 17 U.S.C. § 512(c)(3)):
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the copyrighted work you claim is being infringed (or, if multiple works at a single site, a representative list).
- Identification of the specific content on opbrainrots.com that you claim infringes that work — provide a URL or other location.
- Your contact information (name, address, telephone number, email).
- A statement that you have a good-faith belief that the use of the material is not authorized by the copyright owner, its agent, or the law.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that the information in the notification is accurate and that you are authorized to act on behalf of the copyright owner.
Counter-notice procedure
If you believe content of yours was removed by mistake or misidentification, you may file a counter-notice with our DMCA agent containing:
- Your physical or electronic signature.
- Identification of the material that was removed and the location at which it appeared before removal.
- A statement, under penalty of perjury, that you have a good-faith belief that the removal was the result of mistake or misidentification.
- Your name, address, telephone number, email, and a statement that you consent to the jurisdiction of the federal district court for the judicial district in which your address is located (or, if your address is outside the United States, any judicial district in which OPBrainrots may be found) and that you will accept service of process from the person who provided the original notification.
If we receive a valid counter-notice, we will forward it to the original complainant. If the complainant does not file a court action within 10 business days, the removed content may be restored.
Repeat infringer policy
OPBrainrots terminates the accounts of users who are determined to be repeat infringers in appropriate circumstances. A "repeat infringer" is generally a user who has been the subject of multiple valid DMCA takedown notices.
Roblox / third-party IP
OPBrainrots is not affiliated with Roblox Corporation or the developers of "Steal a Brainrot." All references to game titles, item names, and game-related imagery on our site are for the sole purpose of identifying the goods being sold and are used under fair-use principles.
If you are Roblox Corporation, the developer of Steal a Brainrot, or another authorized rights-holder and you believe our use of your IP exceeds fair-use, please contact us directly at [email protected]. We are responsive to legitimate concerns and prefer informal resolution over takedowns where possible.
